Smile ... Confusion of Numbers
The OPP Officer was concerned when he noticed a car driving very slowly. He pulled the car over and said to its elderly driver, “Ma'am, do you know that driving slowly can be just as dangerous to other traffic as speeding? You were only going 20 km.”
“But,Officer,” she replied, “I was following the speed limit,” and pointing to a sign.
“That's the sign for Highway 20, Ma'am,” he said.
Then he looked in the back of the car at two older ladies and a gentleman.
They looked frozen with fear.
“What happened to your friends?” he asked.
“Oh,” she replied. “I don't really know. They haven't said much since
we got off the 403.”
